A free Tai Chi class for older adults will be offered at The Wing Center during the summer.  Often described as “Meditation in Motion”, Tai Chi is proven to have many health benefits – reducing falls and arthritis pain and improving mood. Participants will be learning a form and should try to participate weekly.  Wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothes.

Fall Prevention Tai Chi

Participants will join an existing class to learn a Tai Chi form and use weight transference and mindfulness and balance work to reduce falls.  The sessions include gentle range of motion exercises that are suitable for every fitness level and ability.
