The Estey Organ
We need the community's help to figure out the best way to
reuse & repurpose our 1900s Reed Organ.
WINNER WILL RECEIVE A 90-MINUTE MASSAGE
FROM TUNED IN MASSAGE IN STOWE.
About the Estey Organ
In 1906, this organ was installed at The Universalist Church, now operating as The Wing Center.
The organ stopped working about 50+ years ago. The internal workings are dried up and it would cost a small fortune to get it back up and running.
As beautiful as it is, we do not have any use for it and it's taking up valuable floor space.
We have checked with the Estey Organ Museum in southern Vermont, but they do not have any room for it. Other efforts to find it a new home have been unsuccessful.
About the Contest
We know there are lots of creative people in our community so we're hoping someone can come up with a unique way to reuse and/or repurpose
this beautiful piece of history.
